France show their attacking power against Haiti

img

Whereas the first game of the Sud Ladies Cup 2018 led to a large domination from the USA on Germany, the second one of this first day between France and Haïti also led to an attacking demonstration. The French won by a five goals advantage (5-0) and take the lead of the group.

Dominating from the beginning to the end of the game, France did not give any chance to Haiti.

If the players of Gilles Eyquem showed some inaccuracies during the first quarter, they had much more efficiency after that. Emelyne Laurent, the Olympique Lyonnais striker, illuminated the game, as she scored two goals : a victorious cross-shot (21’) followed by a cold blooded shot after a huge mistake of the Haïti keeper (34’). Meanwhile, Gago also added a goal on a perfect pass from Zamanian (29’).

Back from the changing rooms, despite the numerous substitutions, France kept pressing. The Haïti goalkeeper Theus perfectly stopped a powerful shot from Rey but couldn’t do anything against Lakrar in front of the her following a corner (70’). In the last moments, Ringenbach finished the work for France with a wonderful back heel flick in front of the goal (84’).

France handle perfectly their entry in the tournament. The team will have now to confirm against Germany this thursday for the second day of games in the Sud Ladies Cup.
