For the last game of the Sud Ladies Cup 2019, Japan defeated France (1-0) and offered the title to DPR Korea, who beat earlier Haiti (4-0). Thanks to this win, Futoshi Ikeda's players finish second of the Sud Ladies Cup with 12 points, just ahead France with 10 points.
In a tight game, France could not bring the danger into the Japanese area. The Asian side's defense was solid and their offensive line made struggle French defenders. Thanks to an amazing strike from 30 meters, Osawa netted the only goal of the game. Whereas they had to win to lift the title, France failed on the last step. Japan are rewarded of their good tournament.
