France came from behind against Morocco to win the tournament
After a game with a huge intensity, France won the 43rd edition of Festival Espoirs de Toulon, beating Morocco (3-1). Led at the break, les Bleuets reacted well in the second half to reverse the trend. The warm atmosphere in the stadium, especially with Morocco fans, increased after only three minutes. Ennaffati (MAR, 7) gave the lead to his side with a wonderful shot with the outside of his boot and put Mayol in fire. Better than the French, Hassan Benabicha squad didn't let one space to them. France defense was push under pressure several times, fortunately for Francis Smerecki's boys without consequences. France brought the danger on Morocco box only twice with a shot from Habran (FRA, 20) and a solo run of Bahlouli (FRA, 18), which didn't worry Benachour (MAR, 1).
But les Bleuets had just to wait for their time. With two goals in eight minutes, they totally reversed the trend in the second half. First, thanks to the equalizer from Habran (FRA, 20), after an interception into the Moussadak (MAR, 2) feet. Then, with a header from Sparagna (FRA, 5) just after the hour mark. The joy didn't last too long for Habran (FRA, 20), sent-off for a second yellow car a few minutes later. Not enough to make les Bleuets give up, who add a third goal thanks to Dompé (FRA, 7) and win a tournament, the first since 2007.
