Watmore, le rayon de soleil de Sunderland
Duncan Watmore, révélation du Festival International Espoirs 2015, est l’un des joueurs les plus prometteurs d’Angleterre. Malgré les difficultés de Sunderland (19e de Premier League), l’international Espoirs anglais s’est distingué lors de ces dernières semaines. Depuis le début de la saison, l’attaquant des Black Cats a marqué 2 buts en 11 apparitions en championnat. Les performances du joueur de 21 ans ont été récompensées par une prolongation de contrat jusqu’en 2020. Parallèlement, Watmore a également obtenu un diplôme d’économie plus tôt dans l’année ! Désormais, son but sera d’aider Sunderland à sortir de la zone de relégation.

Duncan Watmore, the 2015 Toulon Tournament breakthrough player, is one of the promising young talents in England. Despite the Sunderland’s struggles (19th of the Premier League), the England U21 international distinguished himself over the last few weeks. Since the start to the season, the Black Cats forward has netted 2 goals in 11 Premier League appearances. The 21-year-old’s performances were rewarded with a lucrative contract extension until 2020. Earlier this year, Watmore has also earned a degree in economics ! Now, his aim is to help his team to climb out of the relegation zone.
