Omar Abdulrahman named AFC Champion’s League best player

Al Ain (United Arab Emirates) were beaten in the AFC Champions League final by Jeonbuk Motors as the South Korean side earned a 3-2 aggregate win (2-1 in the first leg, 1-1 during the second leg). Despite this loss, the Al Ain attacking midfielder Omar Abdulrahman won the AFC Champion’s League best player award.
The Emirati international (54 caps, 7 goals), who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2009, was influential in his team’s path to the final. The 25-year-old scored 3 goals and was voted man of the match 8 times in this Champion’s League campaign. However, Abdulrahman would certainly trade his award against a Champion’s League trophy…
