The expectations surrounding Jordan Morris, who took part in the Toulon Tournament in 2013 and 2015, were high prior to this Major League Soccer season while he had never played a professional match. Rated as the MLS brightest young talent, the 21-year-old striker has had a slow start to the season before to prove his worth over the last months. The USA international (12 caps, 1 goal) distinguished himself as he netted 12 goals and delivered 3 assists in 32 league games. Not bad for a first professional season !
Morris has caught the eye of the observers since he made his international debut with the USA national team in 2014 while he was still a college player at Stanford. Thanks to his convincing performances, Morris has shown he can handle the expectations…
