After struggling during his two first seasons with AS Monaco, Tiemoué Bakayoko established himself as a key player for the French Ligue 1 side since the start to the current campaign. The 22-year-old midfielder, runner-up of the Toulon Tournament 2014, has already played 40 games in all competitions with AS Monaco.
The Paris-born has also scored 3 goals including the decisive goal against Manchester City (3-1) in the Champion’s League round of 16 second leg.
His excellent form with AS Monaco has attracted the attention of the France head coach Didier Deschamps as Bakayoko has been handed his first ever France call-up following the Paul Pogba’s withdrawal.
