Brazil secure tough win over Indonesia

img

Brazil earned a 1-0 win over Indonesia in their Toulon Tournament opener. During the first period, the game was pretty balanced. After a slow start, Indonesia tried a lot of things with the ball. Indra Sjafri’s players did a lot of combinations, of passing sequences… But they never achieved what they wanted to do. Despite a good ball possession, Indonesians struggled for real chances.

Brazil weren't very dangerous, but were quite efficient. Brazilians attackers fired several shots, off target or on the goalkeeper. However, the Brazilians found the net just before the half time. Emerson (BRA/2) fired a very powerful shot deflected by Riyandi (INA/1) and Gabriel Novaes (BRA/20) was here to push the ball into the empty net.

Indonesians took the ball, and tried to do another combinations. After a few tries, Sulaeman (INA/8) had a big chance to score but he crashed a shot off the post. Certainly the biggest Indonesian chance of the whole game !
