During three seasons, Orlando City have entrusted the Brazilian star Kaka with the responsibility of orchestrating attacking moves. However, the 35-year-old attacking midfielder has decided to not extend his adventure with the Major League Soccer side due to his injury problems.
In order to replace the Ballon d’Or 2007 winner, the Floridians have decided to sign a South American starlet during the January transfer window : Josué Colman, who played the Toulon Tournament 2016.
Orlando City splashed out around $3M on the 19-year-old Paraguayan midfielder. They offered a five-year-contract to Colman. The latter has been handed the number 10 shirt worn previously by… Kaka !
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Orlando new boy and Colman will try to meet these expectations as he did at Cerro Porteno where he played 48 Primera Dvision games and won the Paraguayan league title on December.
