Except this award, his heroics in the south of France helped him to secure his future at Valencia, his current club. According to the Spanish outlets Marca as well as Sport, the performances made by Kangin Lee at the Maurice Revello Tournament convinced the Valencia executive board to extend his contact.
The Spanish side announced over the last days the details of this new deal : Kangin Lee has penned a contract extension until 2022 with a buy-out clause of €80 million !
Meanwhile, Kangin Lee has been included in the first-team squad for the pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
“I’ve grown up with Valencia CF and they’ve helped me to get to where I am today, it’s almost my entire life, since I arrived here my dream was to play at the Mestalla and get to the first team, which I’m doing right now…so it’s time to get my head down”, he told to the Valencia official website.
Kangin Lee will probably continue his development with the reserve-team for the moment but it seems like he will have an opportunity to show his talent with the first-team sooner or later…
