FA Cup : a chance to shine for Xande Silva, Slattery and Woodman

The FA Cup third round played during this week-end, which has coincided with the entry of the Premier League sides, has been the opportunity for some players seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament to shine.
It was the case of Callum Slattery. The Maurice Revello Tournament 2017 winner has made his professional debut with Southampton during the 2-2 draw against Derby County. Alongside the Maurice Revello Tournament 2016 winner James Ward-Prowse, Slattery has played the full game. “I was happy with his performance and he showed he is always an alternative for me”, told Saints coach Ralph Hasenhüttl.

Earlier, Alexandre Silva commonly known as “Xande Silva” has made his first start with West Ham. Signed last summer from Vitoria Guimaraes, the 21-year-old forward, seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2016, helped the Hammers to clinch a 2-0 win over Birmingham City.
Also, the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 best goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has been handed his first start of the season during the 1-1 draw between Newcastle and Blackburn. ”Dealt with the majority of balls into the box and put in a solid performance. Deserves another game in the Newcastle first team and will now get it at Ewood Park”, said the local outlet Chronicle.
FREDDIE WOODMAN admitted he had mixed feelings after Newcastle United's 1-1 @EmiratesFACup draw with @Rovers this evening.
