Oliver Burke enjoyed a dream Scottish Premiership debut for Celtic

Following a frustrating spell at West Bromwich Albion, marked by a relegation to the Championship and a number of injuries, Oliver Burke has decided to join Celtic this winter on loan. With a main aim : rediscover the pleasure of playing football and get back to his best under the Hoops shirt.

The 21-year-old starlet has enjoyed a stunning start to life with Celtic : for his first Scottish Premiership game, the Scotland international (five caps), seen at the Maurice Revello Tournaments 2017 and 2018, grabbed a brace against St-Mirren (4-0).

"He’s a talent. His strength and power is phenomenal. His touch is good. His job is to create and score goals. He's got some great attributes", said his coach Brendan Rodgers after the game.

Thanks to this win, Celtic remain at the top of the Scottish league, one point clear of second-placed Kilmarnock and three clear of their eternal rivals Rangers.
