Sanchez, Kamada, Méïté… the Maurice Revello Tournament former players burst onto the international scene
Each international break is the opportunity for several players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament to make their international debut. Over the last days, some of them earned their first international cap.
Daichi Kamada (Japan)
Loaned out by Eintracht Frankfurt to Sint-Truidense, the 22-year-old midfielder, seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2016, has been rewarded for his fine form in the Jupiler Pro League (12 goals in 24 games) by a first international cap with the Samuraï Blue. He made his Japan bow during the friendly against Colombia (0-1).

Seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2015, the Alajuelense new signing has played his first minutes with Los Ticos against Guatemala (0-1)
Luis Orejuela (Colombia)
The Cruzeiro defender, who played the Maurice Revello Tournament in 2014, earned his first international cap with Colombia during the friendly against South Korea (1-2).
Ibrahima Tandia (Mali)
The 25-year-old winger, who netted the the Maurice Revello Tournament 2016’s Best Goal, has played his first game with Les Aigles du Mali against Senegal (1-2). A fair reward for the Malian who is shining in the Romanian top-flight with Sepsi (10 goals with 25 games this season).
Yakou Meité (Ivory Coast)
This is a season to remember for the 23-year-old powerful forward, seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2015. The PSG former starlet, who established himself as a regular starter for Reading this season, has made his Ivory Coast debut during a friendly against Liberia (1-0).

Alex Kral (Czech Republic)
After making his European debut with Slavia Praha this season, the 20-year-old player, who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament in 2017, has earned his first international cap with Czech Republic. Against a prestigious opponent : Brazil. An unforgettable memory despite the 1-3 loss.

Named in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 best XI, crowned Mexico champion with Club America, the 21-year-old Mexicain defender made his international debut with « El Tri » in a friendly against Paraguay (4-2).
