It's nine for Brazil ! The Seleçao lifted their ninth Maurice Revello Tournament trophy after they beat Japan. A fantastic performance, as this is their ninth title... in nine finals played in the competition. But this one was surely one of the hardest they have to face.
Japan made them suffer a lot thanks to an impressive team display. After the opener scored by Antony (19'), the Samurai Blue never gave up and equalized thanks to Ogawa (39'). But, after a harsh second half, Brazil kept their calm during the penalty shoot-out and finally won after the last shot missed by Japan. For their first final in the competition, the Japanese players can be proud. But Brazil were too strong.
