Maurice Revello Tournament Team of the Month for November

At the end of each month, we put together a list of players who have passed through the Maurice Revello Tournament and who have shone for their clubs or their national teams. Fourth part of the 2021-2022 season, with the team of November.

Alisson (Liverpool)

Call him « Mister Clean Sheets » ! The Brazil international kept 6 clean sheets during the 7 games played on November in all competitions. Thanks to this, Liverpool continue to battle for the title in Premier League while Brazil secured their spot for the World Cup 2022. Alisson has also registered his 50th international cap with Brazil during the last month.


Reece James
 (Chelsea)

His ankle injury sustained at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019 is a distant memory. The right-back, who is now a regular starter for both Chelsea and England, is in superb form : in addition to the 3 assists provided on November, he has also scored during the fantastic 4-0 win over Juventus in Champions League.

Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace)

Very reliable defensively, the English centre-back has also shone on the offensive level last month as he scored against both Burnley and Aston Villa. A really good month for the Crystal Palace defender.

Rodrigo Caio (Flamengo)

If the Maurice Revello Tournament 2014 best player was disappointed after losing the Copa Libertadores final against Palmeiras, he has however produced several strong displays on November for Flamengo, currently second in the Brazilian league.


Matt Targett
 (Aston Villa)

The Steven Gerrard’s arrival on the Aston Villa bench on mid-November reshuffled the cards and the English left-back benefited from that. The Villans won their first two games under Steven Gerrard and the Maurice Revello Tournament 2016 winner has notably scored during the win over Crystal Palace.

Michal Sadilek (Twente)

Now a regular starter for both Twente and Czech Republic national team, the midfielder seems to eventually fullfilling his potential. Twente are unbeaten since 3 games and Sadilek played a key role as he has brilliantly orchestrated the midfield whilst showing also his abilities with Czech Republic under the head coach Jaroslav Silhavy.

Lucas Silva (Grêmio)

After a short stint at Real Madrid, the Brazilian midfielder returned to his native country. The Maurice Revello Tournament 2014 winner got back to his best with Gremio. On November, the former Olympique de Marseille player scored a stunning goal and has also provided 2 assists.

Ricardo Horta (Braga)

Involved in 8 goals on November (4 goals, 4 assists) and decisive during the last 5 games, the Portuguese midfielder has enjoyed a thrilling month. His best performance was undoubtedly against Ludogorets in Europa League as he has provided three assists in the same game.

Jota (Celtic)

How far can he go ? The Portuguese winger has been in stunning form for Celtic on November. In 4 games, he found the net 5 times whilst also providing an assist. The Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 graduate has been a nightmare for his opponents !

Gaëtan Laborde (Rennes)

Third appearance in the TOTM for the French striker after August and October. Fully deserved once again for the Montpellier former player. He has scored 5 goals, including a hat-trick in Europa Conference League. The Maurice Revello Tournament 2014 graduate is currently the Ligue 1’s second top scorer.

Duvan Zapata (Atalanta)

Another regular member of the TOTM ! The Colombian striker has impressed once again : he has scored at least one goal during his last 7 games with Atalanta. On November, he registered 5 goals and 2 assists.

Amayes Brahmi & Mathieu Lauricella
