The Liga's 2022-2023 season starts on this Friday. 21 Maurice Revello Tournament graduates will play in the Spanish top-flight this season.
Of the 20 clubs involved in La Liga for the 2022-2023 season, 13 have at least one player who has been through the Maurice Revello Tournament.
This means that a total of 21 former players from the Tournament will potentially be playing in Spain this season. Some of them are newcomers. Ivorian Franck Kessie, seen at the Tournament in 2015, will discover Iberian football in the colours of FC Barcelona after five seasons with AC Milan. This is also the case of the Argentinian goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin, who arrived at Celta Vigo from Porto this summer and played in the Tournament in 2009.
Others are regulars in La Liga, including Radamel Falcao, Mouctar Diakhaby and Etienne Capoue.
