"There was only one team on the field" (USA)
"Pour nous, le Tournoi est avant tout une préparation. On essaie de donner leur chance à chaque joueurs. Lors de la première période, il n'y avait qu'une seule équipe sur le terrain, la France. En seconde période on a accéléré le jeu, on a mis plus d'agressivité. On est revenu dans le match mais malheureusement nous avons encaissé deux buts en fin de match".
Pour Benjamin Jimenez (USA, 8), il y a beaucoup d'enseignements à tirer de cette défaite :
"Il y avait beaucoup d'intensité et de contacts dans ce match. Nous avons perdu mais c'est une bonne leçon, on veut aller de l'avant. La France est une excellente équipe, on a réalisé quelques erreurs et ils ont marqué de beaux buts. On a eu quelques occasions mais dès que l'on perdait la balle, ils allaient immédiatement au but. C'est excellent pour nous de jouer comme si nous étions en Coupe du Monde contre des équipes rapides et physiques."
Tab Ramos' reactions after the defeat of USA against France (4-1) :"Obviously, this is a preparation for us. We’re trying to give many opportunities to the players. During the first half, there was only one team on the field. But in the second half, we started to play a little bit faster and then we become more competitive and agressive on the ball. We almost get back in the game but unfortunately we took this two goals in the end".
According to Benjamin Jimenez (USA, 8), there are many things to learn from this defeat :"The game was pretty fast since the beginning. We lost but we learn from this and we want to keep on moving forward. France is a great team, we did our part of mistakes and they scored very good goals. We had our moments but everytime we lost the ball, they were immaditely going to the goal. This is very good for us to play in the World Cup mode against very fast and strong teams."
