Peu après le retour des vestiaires, les sud Américains égalisent ! Sur un coup franc, Vergara (2) place sa tête et bat Mc Intosh (USA, 12) (44’). Le match est relancé ! Et les trois changements effectués par le coach à la pause font leur effet. Dans la même position que le premier, Mojica (7) centre dans la surface et trouve Aguilar (5) qui pousse le ballon au fond des filets (49’) ! En cinq minutes, les Colombiens ont inversé la tendance. Le score : Colombie 2, Etats-Unis 1.
During the first half, the game is fluent enough but there’s no real atempts on target, the two teams play only moment by moment. In the minute 6, Daniel Garcia score for USA on a direct corner ! Then, the match is dominated by nobody, but USA keep the score safe. Even with a lot of dangerous situations for Colombia, score won’t change anymore until the break.
At the beginning of the second half, south American equalized ! On a free-kick, Vergara hit the ball with his head and beat Mc Intosh (44’). The suspense is back ! The three substitutions done by the coach will change the match. In the same position than the first one, Mojica cross to the box and find Aguilar who put the ball in the net (49’) ! In five minutes, Colombians have reverse the tend. Final score : Colombia 2, USA 1.
