"Après le match de nul de la Côte d'Ivoire et la victoire du Mexique contre l'Angleterre, nous étions obligés de gagner alors que le Mexique pouvait faire match nul pour aller en finale. On a mal débuté le match. A dix, on a pu gagner ce match, c'est grâce à la volonté des joueurs. En première période, on n'arrivait pas à enchaîner deux passes, les Mexicains ont contrôlé la situation. Après la pause, avec quelques changements, on a tenu le score et on aurait même pu gagner plus largement. Nous allons jouer la finale contre la France avec un très grand public. C'est une très bonne équipe, c'est mieux pour ces jeunes. C'est historique pour nous."

"After the draw of Ivory Coast and the win of Mexico against England, we should win whereas Mexico only needed a draw to reach the final. We started the game bad. With ten men, we won thanks to the desire of the players. In the first half, we can't chain up passes, Mexico controlled the situation. After the break, with a few changes, we kept the advantage and could win with more goals. We will play the final against France with a big crowd. It's a very good team, it's better for the boys. It's historical for us."
