The third place for Portugal after beating Czech Republic

Portugal beat Czech Republic at the penalty shootout after a draw (1-1). If the first half was pleasant, the second was a little boring.
Both teams had some chances. Portual get two by Baldé, who saw his header (13') and his shot (30') saved by the goalkeeper and deflected on the post for the second one. Czech Republic reponded with two chances. Fulnek tried to shot from distance but Pereira was vigilant (17'). Pulkrab was luckier and found the net thanks to a crossed shot (0-1, 33'). This advantage didn't last for Pavel Hoftych's team. Henrique sent a wonderful cross for Joao Silva who equalized thanks to a header (1-1, 36').

The game was still close after the break but lost some intensity. Czech Republic get a big chance to take the lead. Kodes with a header then Pulkrab were near to score, but Pereira saved twice his team (49'). That was the only opportunity in this second half. After the penalty shootout, Portugal won, thanks to a last shot scored by the goalkeeper, Pereira, witout any doubt the man of the match. Lusitanians end the Tournament at the third place. Czech Republic finish at the fourth spot.
