Diaz’s wonderful free-kick secured a late win for Paraguay against Japan

Paraguay won their second game in this Toulon Tournament 2016 as the Albirroja beat Japan (2-1). The game was lively between two teams which playing short passes. Japan had two chances to take the lead but Vento parried the shots of Notsuda and Asano. The Samurai Blue will regret this lack of efficiency as Paraguay opened the scoring thanks to Baez with a point-blank shot. Just after, Japan was close to equalize but the Notsuda’s effort hit the post !

During the second half, Japan missed two big chances before to level the scores thanks to Asano on the hour mark. Finally, Paraguay scored a second goal : after 70 minutes, Diaz netted a beautiful free-kick from the edge of the box.  The Cerro Porteno forward helped the Albirroja to clinch their second win in a row !
