Toulon Tournament’s 100 best players : (100-91)

More than 1700 international players took part in the Toulon Tournament founded in 1967 by Maurice Revello. Many of these players have enjoyed a successful career . Ahead of the 45th edition of the Toulon Tournament (29 May-10 June), we unveil you the best 100 players in the Toulon Tournament history. We kick off our countdown by looking at the players ranked 100-91...

100. GREGORY COUPET

Born on 31 December 1972
Position : Goalkeeper
Played the Toulon Tournament on : 1994

Named best goalkeeper of the Toulon Tournament 1994, Grégory Coupet helped France to finish third. He took part in the competition alongside players like Robert Pires, Johan Micoud as well as Vincent Candela.

Italy reached the Toulon Tournament 2002 final and Christian Maggio was the captain of the Squadra Azzurra. Unfortunately for them, the Italians were defeated in the final by the Brazil led by Adriano.

98. JOHN HEITINGA

Named third best player of the competition, John Heitinga was a key player for the Netherlands' team that earned a 4th place at the Toulon Tournament 2001.
