France and Wales shared the spoils in a goalless draw
A calm first half, with no strike align. France try to press their opponents and bring danger by several crosses from Alec Georgen on the right side, but this is not enough to score a goal. Wales decided to wait France and proceed with counter-attacks but they couldn't find an opening.
At the beginning of the second half, Wales were more dangerous than France with two big chances blocked by the French goalkeeper Dimitry Bertaud. Then, Bertaud won a face-to-face against Evans to save France's squad another time. At the very end of the game, Jean-Claude Giuntini's men dominated the final minutes but Wales's defense held on to snatch only a single point for their first game in the Toulon Tournament.
