Scotland took their revenge and beat Czech Republic for the third place game (3-0). Even if Czech Republic domitated a little bit the first half thanks to a higher possession of the ball, they didn't succeed to score any single goal. Scotland just waited for his opponent to put pressure and counters with long balls for Oliver Burke, but couldn't net.
In the second half, Scotland didn't change his gameplan and that was the good choice, even without Oliver Burke, who left the game due to an injury. Hardie (44') opened the score on a wonderful curl strike and Wighton (58') doubles the lead after a shot from Thomson saved by the goalkeeper. A Granecny own goal (80+2') sealed the game. Scotland sit on the third spot of Maurice Revello Tournament. Czech Republic are fourth.
