Some players of the France squad that finished runner-up of the Toulon Tournament 2016 possess already French Ligue 1 experience. We think about Mouctar Diakhaby (Olympique Lyonnais), Jonathan Bamba (Saint-Etienne) as well as Abdou Diallo (Monaco). During the next season, one of their former teammates will have the opportunity to show off his talent in the French top-flight : Angelo Fulgini.
After several years spent at Valenciennes, the versatile midfielder has signed last week for Angers SCO in a four-year-deal. This move caps a remarkable rise from Angelo Fulgini.
The 20-year-old midfielder has made a name for himself at Valenciennes, playing 80 Ligue 2 games during his spell in the Northern France. He has notably distinguished himself in the last season as he played 35 league games and scored 6 goals including an outstanding hat-trick in only 6 minutes against Orléans (4-0).
Thanks to the experience earned with Valenciennes, the France U21 international seems ready to progress to the next level with Angers.
