Only few weeks after taking part in the Toulon Tournament 2017 with Scotland, Ross McCrorie has made his debut for the 53-times Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers.
The 19-year-old defender has played his first game with Rangers this week during the League Cup game against Patrick Thistle (3-1). The Scotland U21 international, who came off the bench after the Bruno Alves’ injury, has impressed the observers as well as his coach Pedro Caixinha.
“Ross McCrorie is going to be one of the best centre-halves in history, not just for this club but for this country. You just need to see what he did. He was brilliant”, said the Rangers boss after the game.
These words from Pedro Caixinha suggest that McCrorie will probably have the opportunity to play regular first-team football with the Glasgow-based club this season.
