Omar Govea made his Mexico debut

A number of former Toulon Tournament players burst onto the international scene over the last days.

Anoter one joins the list as Omar Govea, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2016, has earned his first international cap with Mexico during the friendly against Poland (1-0). The 21-year-old midfielder came off the bench after 74 minutes and helped "El Tri" to secure a win.

This international debut caps a remarkable rise from Omar Govea who established himself as a key player for Royal Excel Mouscron (Belgium) since the start to the season. The San Luis Potosí-born has netted 3 goals and delivered 1 assist in 14 Belgian league games in this current campaign.
