The Asian Champions League campaign has started during this week. It was the opportunity for some youngsters like Salem Al-Hajri to burst onto the continental scene.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who took part in the Toulon Tournament in 2014, has made his Asian Champions League debut on this Wednesday and helped the Qatari side Al-Sadd to earn a 2-1 win over Al-Wasl (UAE). The young Qatari midfielder has started the game alongside the Spain legend Xavi and has played one hour.
Al-Hajri enjoyed his first appearance in the Champions League only few months after earning his first international cap with the Qatar senior national team.
