For their return to the Maurice Revello Tournament, Mexico will count on players who are featuring in the Liga MX for the most part. One of the marquee names of this Mexican squad could be Erick Aguirre.

World Cup U17 runner-up in 2013, member of the Mexico squad that played the Rio Olympics 2016, CONCACAF Champions League winner in 2017 : at only 21, the young Mexican has enjoyed some thrilling moments in his career.

Meanwhile, he has played in a variety of positions throughout his young career : used as a right-back or a central midfielder few years ago, the Pachuca player is now used as… a left midfielder !

His experience and his versatility helped him to cement his place in the Pachuca starting XI, one of the best clubs in the country since the beginning of the 21st century.

His playing time has increased over the last campaigns. Aguirre has already played 26 Liga MX games this season with Los Tuzos and has confirmed the potential showed with Morelia at the early stages of his career.

Rated as one of the most promising players in Mexico, Aguirre is aiming to make a name for himself at the international level. Some good performances during the Toulon Tournament 2018 could help him to reach his aim.
