Joe Rodon pushing for a spot in Wales team
Chris Mepham, Tyler Roberts and George Thomas : these three Welsh players, who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2017, have all made their international debut with the senior squad over the last months. Another player who came that year in the south of France could follow in their footsteps.
After establishing himself as a regular starter for Swansea (10 league games played this season so far), Joe Rodon has been handed his first ever Wales call-up. The 20-year-old defender has been selected by the head coach Ryan Giggs for the friendly against Spain (October 11) and the Nations League clash against Ireland (October 16).
