Triple title holders England need a miracle to qualify for the semi-finals as the Young Lions have been defeated by Portugal (2-3), their second loss in as many games played. England took the lead early thanks to Eddie Nketiah but Portugal came from behind and scored three goals by Marcos Paulo, Goncalo Cardoso and Felix Correia in the first half. Joe Willock reduced the deficit in the last minutes of the game but it was too late for the Paul Simpson’s side.
