Another beautiful performance for Portugal. After having beaten England (3-2), the Lusitanians clinched a second win in a row by defeating Japan (1-0) thanks to a late goal from Umaro Embalo (85'). With this victory, the Filipe Ramos' side counts six points but stays behind Japan because of the goal difference (+1 for them, +5 for Japan).
Japan, winner of the group, qualify for the semi-finals. Portugal have to wait for the other results to know if they will reach the next stage as the best second.
