FACTS
Six referees seen previously at the Maurice Revello Tournament will take part in the Olympic Games. Artur Soares Dias (Portugal - 2013) and Georgi Kabakov (Bulgaria – 2014) have been appointed as center referees while Adil Zourak (Morocco - 2015), Abdulla Al-Marri (Qatar - 2014), Erick Miranda (Mexico - 2016) and Benoît Millot (France - 2016) will be in charge of the VAR system.

Brazil are the current title holders. The Seleçao won the Olympic tournament in 2016 as they have beaten Germany in final (1-1, 5-4 pen). Several Maurice Revello Tournament graduates as Marquinhos and Luan played a key role in this success.
Hungary and Great Britain are the most successful nations in the Olympic football tournament’s history as each side won it three times.
