After the French Ligue 1, the Bundesliga, the Premier League and La Liga, another league from the “Big Five” is back : the Serie A. 30 players seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament will compete in the Italian top-flight this season.

Winners of the Serie A last season after eleven years of waiting, Inter Milan are logically among the favorites for the crown this season despite losing some key players during the summer transfer window.

However, the Nerazzurri will face strong competition : Italy champions nine times in a row between 2012 and 2020, Juventus are looking to bring the championship title back to Turin. The Bianconeri can rely on the Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo to reach their goal. Aged 36, the Maurice Revello Tournament 2003 winner has finished as the Serie A’s top scorer (29 goals) in the last campaign and wants to clinch this individual award once again.

AC Milan, which sealed the permanent transfer of Fikayo Tomori, are among the title contenders as Atalanta. La Dea finished on the podium during the last four seasons and hope to fight for the crown. Especially when you know they boast strikers like Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata in their squad.

Meanwhile, Napoli, Lazio and AS Roma will probably play leading roles in this league. The Serie A observers will follow closely the Tammy Abraham’s performances as the English striker has been signed by AS Roma from Chelsea in a €40M-deal.
