Angel Orelien leads Panama to victory over Indonesia
For the second match of the day, Indonesia faced Panama in Aubagne. At the same time, Jorge Dely Valdes' men made their debut in the competition. Winners of the 2023 edition, Panama knew they were expected to be at the 50th edition. Faced with an Indonesian side beaten by Ukraine in their opening match, the game was a high-stakes affair for both teams. With Angel Orelien on fire, scoring a hat-trick, the Panamanians finally got to grips with the match and won quite comfortably (0-4).
