Ivory Coast dominate Mexico in electric match
As the first week of the competition drew to a close, Côte d'Ivoire and Mexico met in Aubagne on Sunday afternoon. In Group A, it was quite simply the two top-ranked teams who met today. This match was therefore of the utmost importance, as the winner could take an option on qualification for the final. After a match that was just about right at times, Côte d'Ivoire came out on top (4-1) to consolidate their first place.
