"I am very pleased for this victory. The team feels better and better, we still can improve. In the first half, we didn't have a lot of spaces, China played very defensively. We managed to set up our tactic and find some spaces in the second half, we played with. I am very proud of my two goals, these are my firsts with the national team. We have an important game against England, we have to focus on that. This is my first international tournament with Mexico. It is close to what I expected, the level is very high. I learn and I am impressed. To play in Europe, it is great."

"On avait prévu de jouer avec deux tactiques différentes aujourd’hui. C’est pour cela que j’ai fait trois changements à la pause. Les joueurs qui sont rentrés ont fait la différence. Le premier match est toujours difficile à négocier, il y a toujours un peu de stress et il faut également s’adapter au décalage horaire. Les joueurs sont de mieux en mieux, c’est positif pour la suite. On est toujours dans la course à la première place. On a un duel face au Maroc à disputer. On est prêts et on y croit toujours autant."

"We planned to play with two differents tactics today. That’s why I made three substitutions at the half time. The players who came off the bench made the difference. The first match is always difficult to nogotiate, there is always a little stress and we have also to get used to the French time zone.
Now, we can still reach the first place of the group. The clash against Morocco is coming and we are ready."
