Les Pays-Bas trop forts pour le Qatar

Au terme d'une rencontre maitrisée, les Pays-Bas s'imposent sans difficulté face au Qatar (5-1). Les Oranje n'ont pas eu à forcer leur talent et ont eu la mainmise sur le jeu dès le début de match. Sur un corner botté par Warmerdam (NED, 14), De Wijs (NED, 1) place une tête rageuse qui passe au-dessus. Une occasion à laquelle le Qatar répond instantanément. Alkubaisi (QAT, 13) récupère un ballon qui traine aux abords de la surface et tente sa chance, mais le gardien néerlandais était vigilant. Malgré ces deux occasions, le match démarre timidement et sur un faux rythme. Il ne faut cependant pas attendre longtemps pour assister au premier but. Hateboer (NED, 2) dévie involontairement du dos un coup-franc tiré par Leemans (NED, 6) et donne l'avantage à son équipe. Sans forcer, les Pays-bas dominent cette rencontre. El-Ghazi (NED, 11) et Warmerdam (NED, 14) s'essaient par deux fois avant la pause, en vain.

Les Néerlandais vont appuyer sur l'accélérateur au retour des vestiaires. Les hommes de Remy Reijnierse vont tuer le match en inscrivant trois buts en trois minutes ! D'abord grâce à une tête de Van Overbeek (NED, 18) sur un corner de Haye (NED, 8). Quelques secondes plus tard, c'est Rayhi (NED, 7) tout juste entré en jeu, qui triple la mise d'un tir puissant. Enfin, c'est Janssen (NED, 19) qui y va ensuite de son but en scorant dans le but vide suite à une parade d'Al-Abbasi (QAT, 1) sur un tir de Haye (NED, 8). Après plusieurs opportunités manquées, Janssen (NED, 19) trouve de nouveau la faille d'un tir enroulé qui termine filet opposé. Le but tardif d'Alyahri (QAT, 9) ne sera qu'anecdotique. Les Pays-Bas renouent avec le succès après leur défaite face aux Etats-Unis.

**Netherlands too strong for Qatar**

At the end of a controlled game, Netherlands easily beat Qatar (5-1). The Oranje didn't have to force to win and handle the game since his start. After a corner kick shot by Warmerdam (NED, 14), De Wijs (NED, 13) sends his header too high. Qatar responds instantly. Alkubaisi (QAT, 13) gets back the ball after a deflected strike and tries his chance, but the goalkeepers was cautious. Despite these two chances, the game starts on a slow rhythm. Nevertheless, Netherlands finds the key after twenty minutes. Hateboer (NED, 2) deflects with his back a free-kick shot by Leemans (NED, 6) and gives the lead to his side. Without forcing, Netherlands dominates the game. El-Ghazi (NED, 11) and Warmerdam (NED, 14) twice give some work to Al-Abbasi (QAT, 1) before the break, without finishing.

Netherlands will push the pressure after the break. In three minutes, Remy Reijnierse's squad score three goals ! First, with Van Overbeek (NED, 18) thank to a header on a corner crossed by Haye (NED, 8). A few seconds later, Rayhi (NED, 7), just gone out of the bench, sends a powerful shot on the net. Finally, with Janssen (NED, 19), who scores in the empty net after a saved by Al-Abbasi (QAT, 1) on a Haye (NED, 8) chance. After several chances that he missed, Janssen (NED, 19) finds the net for the second time of the game with a curve shot and scores the last goal of his team. The late goal of Alyahri (QAT, 9) doesn't change anything. After the loss against USA, Netherlands signs his second victory of the tournament.
