Group A : United States 3 pts, Salvador 0 pt, Mexico 0 pt.
Unbeaten during the group stage, Mexico were defeated by United States (0-1). Once again, Brooks Lennon was decisive for the Americans. The Liverpool forward’s corner was met cleanly by Erik Palmer-Brown who scored with a powerful header after 28 minutes. This goal was enough to secure a crucial win for USA.
Salvador were exempt from this Matchday.
Group B : Honduras 3 pts, Costa Rica 0 pt, Panama 0 pt.
After three wins in as many games, Panama were outclassed by Honduras (0-2). After only 6 minutes, Darixon Vuleto gave the lead to his team as the Tenerife forward fired a powerful shot from the edge of the box into the net. Then, the Hondurans added another goal after 81 minutes thanks to Jorge Alvarez who netted a stunning shot from distance.
Costa Rica were exempt from this Matchday.
