Chaque semaine, nous revenons sur les performances des joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs.
En Angleterre, Esteban Cambiasso (Argentine - 1996) a inscrit son premier but sous les couleurs de Leicester City. Une réalisation qui permet à son équipe de battre de Manchester United au terme d’un match spectaculaire (5-3). Un autre ancien du Festival a débloqué son compteur but ce week-end avec sa nouvelle formation. Il s’agit de Frank Lampard (Angleterre - 1998 ) qui marque pour la première fois avec Manchester City face à…Chelsea (1-1) !
En Italie, Antonio Cassano (Italie - 2000) s’est illustré de fort belle manière avec un double de toute beauté. Une performance qui permet à Parme de s’imposer sur le terrain du Chievo Vérone (3-2). Plus haut dans le classement, l’AS Roma s’est défait de Cagliari (2-0). Mattia Destro (Italie – 2011) a ouvert le score pour les Romains.
En Espagne, le Real Madrid a explosé le Deportivo La Corogne (8-2) et les joueurs passés par le Festival se sont distingués. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) a inscrit un triplé durant la rencontre tandis que James Rodriguez (Colombie – 2011) a marqué un but absolument fantastique. En Liga toujours, Jhon Cordoba (Colombie – 2013) a marqué le but de la victoire pour Granada sur le terrain de l’Athletic Bilbao (1-0).

In England, Esteban Cambiasso (Argentina – 1996) scored his first goal with Leicester City and helped his team to beat Manchester United after a spectacular game (5-3). Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) struck a hat-trick while James Rodriguez (Colombia – 2011) scored an outstanding goal. To finish, Jhon Cordoba (Colombia – 2013) scored the winning-goal game for Granada against Athletic Bilbao (1-0).
