Chaque semaine, nous revenons sur les performances des joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs. Plusieurs d’entre eux ont brillé ce week-end.

En Espagne, le Real Madrid a balayé Granada (4-0). Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) et James Rodriguez (Colombie – 2011) ont joué un rôle majeur dans ce succès. Le premier a inscrit son 17e but de la saison en championnat et délivré une passe décisive. Le second a marqué un doublé dont une volée absolument magnifique. Les deux anciens du Festival brillent semaine après semaine !

Enfin, un mot sur les anciens du Festival évoluant au Portugal. Yacine Brahimi (France – 2010) a contribué au succès de Porto face au Nacional (2-0) en inscrivant un but sublime. Plus tôt, Anderson Talisca (Brésil – 2013) a donné la victoire au Benfica face à Rio Ave (1-0) grâce à un joli tir lointain.

In Spain, Real Madrid destroyed Granada (4-0). Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) and James Rodriguez (Colombie – 2011) played a key role in this win. The Ballon d’Or winner netted his 17th goal of the season and delivered an assist while the Colombian star scored twice, including an outstanding volley. The two Toulon Tournalment former players continue to shine with “la Casa Blanca”.

In France, Jean-Christophe Bahebeck (France – 2014) scored the winning-goal game for PSG against Lorient (2-1). In Germany, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Netherlands – 2001) rescued again Schalke 04 in scoring the only goal of the game against Augsburg (1-0). Later, Shinji Okazaki (Japan – 2008) scored too but Mainz was defeated by Werder Bremen (1-2). However, the Japanese striker can console himself : he is the Bundesliga top scorer with 6 goals.

Finally, a word about the Portuguese championship. Porto beat Nacional (2-0) and Yacine Brahimi (France – 2010) contributed to this win in scoring an awesome goal. Earlier, Anderson Talisca (Brazil – 2013) gave the win to Benfica against Rio Ave (1-0) thanks to a shot from distance. The Brazilian forward is la Liga Sagres top scorer (8 goals).
