Finally. After two defeats in a row, Mexico clinched their first win of the Sud Ladies Cup 2019 against Haiti. Monica Vergara's side had to wait until the penalty shoot-out to make the difference, after both teams couldn't score during the game (0-0, 3-1 pen). Mexico, more confident during the shoot-out, scored the three shots they had.
On the contrary, Haiti missed three of their four penalties. A real disappointment for Gerardo Contreras' players, as they get the best chances during the game but were not able to find the net.
