Palacios attend sa première cape avec la Colombie
Helibelton Palacios, finaliste du Festival International Espoirs 2013, a été appelé en équipe nationale A de Colombie pour les rencontres contre le Chili et l’Argentine pour le compte des éliminatoires de la Coupe du Monde 2018. L’arrière droit du Deportivo Cali espère effectuer ses débuts internationaux lors de ces prochains matchs : il a été déjà été convoqué précédemment sans pour autant être utilisé par le sélectionneur des Cafeteros, José Pekerman.
Une première cape internationale serait une récompense pour le joueur de 22 ans qui a disputé 40 matchs de championnat colombien cette année.

Palacios is waiting for his international debut with Colombia
Helibelton Palacios, runner-up of the 2013 Toulon Tournament, was named in the Colombia senior squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Argentina. The Deportio Cali right-back hopes to make his international debut as he was an unusued substitute during his last call-up.
A first international cap would be a reward for the 22-year-old who played 40 Colombian championship games this year.
