Yakou Meité, who took part in the 2015 Toulon Tournament, has played a key role in the PSG’s good performances this season in the Youth League, the U19 equivalent of the Champions League.
After scoring two goals in the group stage, the Ivory Coast U21 international was efficient again this Wednesday as he netted a goal during the quarter-final against AS Roma (3-1). His goal helped Paris Saint-Germain to seal a place in the UEFA Youth League last-four.
So, Meité will have the opportunity to play the semi-finals of this competition against Real Madrid on 15 April for the first time of his career. And who knows ? Maybe, his good performances will allow him to force his way into PSG’s senior squad in the near future...
