Angola head coach Igor Lazic enjoyed the character his team shown to clinch a draw in the last minute against Japan (1-1) :
"It's a team work. With the whole squad, we have to fight to end of the game. This speech worked. But we have some defensives gaps because usually we don't play at a high level. So, we learn a lot and that is good for our team and our confidence.
Even with the loss against England, for me, these two games are two great victories.
But our problem is that we don't have enough training sessions, only six or seven in one month. For a Tournament like this, we need at least two months of preparation. But now we are going to celebrate and then focus on our next game against Cuba where everything will be open".
The Angola offensive midfielder Jaredi Lopes Teixeira was also satisfied with this result :
"The result is very important because we came here to accomplish somegoals. Our objectives continue to grow with our good results. I believe that in the next games, we will do the best.
If we play with heart, every games, we will improve more and more and will have the best results. Like I said before, we must working more. We have to be at hundred percent every time.
The difference between the football in Angola and here is that the players are technically and tactically faster than us. But for the next games, we have to give the best of ourselves."
