Ross McCrorie hopes to return to the Toulon Tournament with Scotland

At only 20, Ross McCrorie established himself as a regular for the legendary Scottish side Rangers FC. A foot injury endured on December stopped his rise but the Scotsman is close to recover his best form and will probably regain his spot in the Rangers starting XI in the next days.

The end of the season will be exciting for the Gers as they continue to push for an European qualification. Meanwhile, the last games of the current campaign will be the opportunity for McCrorie to get back to his best ahead of the Toulon Tournament 2018. After playing the Maurice Revello Tournament last year, the Scotsman hopes to return to the south of France this summer.

“I was involved in Toulon last year and it was a brilliant experience so I would be delighted to be selected again. I’m always proud to play for Scotland and it would also be good for me to get a few more games under my belt, if possible, after being out for so long”, he said to the Scottish FA website.

Drawn in the Group B of the Toulon Tournament 2018 alongside Togo (27th May), France (30th May) and South Korea (2nd June), the Scottish players are looking to repeat their heroics of the last edition when they clinched the third place of the Festival Espoirs.

“We had a really great group of boys who really bonded. We had the odd injury to contend with but everyone stepped up to play their part and we did well to finish third. I think most of the boys are in contention to go again this year so I’d like to think we could pick up where we left off”, told the Rangers FC defender.
