Spectacular win for Angola against Cuba

Angola just hammered Cuba today 5-1 during the last Group A match.

During the first half, Angola totally controlled the game. The Igor Lazic’s mens had the ball possession, and totally outclassed Cuba. At the second minute, Va (ANG/11) crossed for Chico Banza (ANG/9) who just had to push the ball into the empty net. The Cuban team was totally surpassed by the Angolans. Tuero Zanetti’s teammates didn’t had a single situation where they could score. Caribbeans had a lot of difficulties in attack as well as in defense. Angola had a lot of chances during the first half, where attackers just had to push the ball into the goal. After two big attempts, Banza (ANG/9) eventually netted a second goal at the end of the first time, a copy of his first goal.

The difference between both teams was the same during the second half. Rui (ANG/16) scored at the 42nd minute and Chico Banza (ANG/9) at the 54th for the hat-trick. Tuero Zanetti (CUB/14) scored finally a goal for Cuba after a free kick, but Va (ANG/11) scored a fitfth one for Angola then.

With this victory Angola keep their chances alives for a qualification for the semi-finals. They had to wait for the last games results. Cuba finishes the Tournament with one point.
