OFFICIAL : Scotland will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2018

We are thrilled to announce that Scotland will take part in the Toulon Tournament 2018 which will be held from 26th May to 9th June.

A number of former Scotland internationals played the Toulon Tournament. Before establishing himself as a Celtic FC legend, Roy Aitken took part in the Festival in 1977. Few years later, Christian Dailly played the Toulon Tournament four times in a row between 1992 and 1995. Then, the former West Ham defender earned 67 international caps with the Scotland senior national team.

Most recently, the most expensive ever Scottish player Oliver Burke played the Toulon Tournament in 2017 .

The Toulon Tournament 2018 lineup is now complete : except Scotland, Turkey, Togo, Japan, France, South Korea, England, Canada, Portugal, China, Mexico as well as Qatar have confirmed their presence at the upcoming edition.

As a reminder, the Toulon Tournament 2018 will feature 12 teams placed in 3 four-team groups. The three top teams of each group as well as the best second placed team (of all the groups) will advance to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the other teams will play another game to determine their final ranking in the competition.
