The World Cup 2018 takes place from 14th June to 15th July. It should be noted that 81 players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament compete in the World Cup. Throughout the competition, we will take look at their performances !
Peru-Denmark : 0-1
Absent from the last edition, Denmark marked their return to the World Cup with a win over Peru. The Brentford defender Henrik Dalsgaard has been in the Denmark starting XI and played the full game.
Croatia-Nigeria : 2-0

Germany-Mexico : 0-1
Against all odds, the Mexicains earned a thrilling win against the World Cup title holders Germany. A number of former Maurice Revello Tournament players have been in the Mexico starting line-up : the goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, the centre-backs Hector Moreno and Hugo Ayala as well as the restless midfielder Hector Herrera.
Brazil-Switzerland : 1-1
Favorite on paper, the Seleçao couldn’t get more than a draw against the Nati. The Maurice Revello Tournament 2013 winner Alisson played the full game while the Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho came off the bench after the hour mark.
Sweden-South Korea : 1-0
Andreas Granqvist and Sweden clinched a deserved win against the South Koreans. The Swedish captain was the hero as he netted the winning goal on a penalty after 66 minutes !
