Started in the early 2000s, the policy of recruiting massively Brazilian youngsters adopted by Shakhtar Donetsk has been a real success. In addition to a number of domestic titles, the Ukrainian club have also won the UEFA Cup in 2009.
As many trophies clinched thanks to players like Elano, Fernandinho, Douglas Costa, Willian as well as Fred. All these Brazilian internationals went to Shakhtar at the early stages of their career before joining the biggest clubs in Europe and shining with the Brazilian national team.
Can we imagine a same future for Marquinhos Cipriano ? The latter has joined the Ukrainian champions on a five-year-deal.

After taking part in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2017, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder arrives in Europe aiming to justify his reputation. The Sao Paulo former youngster will not be disoriented as there are around a dozen of Brazilians in the Shakthar Donetsk current squad. The best way for the youngster to improve peacefully and fulfill the potential he showed at the Toulon Tournament with the Seleçao.
